Transient/Visiting Students
If you are attending another college or university and would like to take classes that will transfer back to your home institution, apply as a visiting (transient) student at Tri-C.
Whether you want to earn a degree, improve your skills, get certified, train for a new career, or explore a new hobby, you can choose from many programs and courses.
Explore your interests and find a program that puts you on the path to a bright future. Tri-C offers both credit and non-credit courses as well as certificate programs in most career fields.
More than 1,000 credit courses are offered each semester in more than 200 career and technical programs. Tri-C also grants short-term certificates, certificates of proficiency and post-degree professional certificates.
Tri-C's Workforce Training provides both non-credit and credit training for individuals and businesses to assist individuals with skills leading to employment. Tri-C's Corporate College provides professional development and corporate training opportunities.
Tri-C offers a variety of affordable and convenient community programs for both adults and youth. These programs are designed to promote individual development.

If you are attending another college or university and would like to take classes that will transfer back to your home institution, apply as a visiting (transient) student at Tri-C.
Submit a free application online.
The first question asks "What brings you to Tri-C?" Answer, degree programs and certificates. Under "I want to take classes as a", Answer visiting/transient student.
If you are a former Tri-C student, you will need to reapply if you have not attended Tri-C in the past three semesters.
Allow three to five business days to process your application. Application must be processed prior to generating the letter of consent (Step 3).
Sign into my Tri-C space. As soon as your application is processed, the College will generate your my Tri-C space account. Here, you will obtain important information regarding registration, financial aid and course planning. Within my Tri-C space, you will also have an email account. Remember to check your email regularly for important updates.
Multi-Factor Authentication
Once your password is established, you will be required to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access certain Tri-C applications or tools. MFA is required by the college due to federal regulations. Read Student MFA Enrollment for detailed instructions. Incomplete forms or missing documentation will result in a processing delay.
Once your transient form is processed, confirmation will be sent to your Tri-C email with instructions on how to register.
Register for classes in the Registration Dashboard on my Tri-C space or in person at Admissions and Financial Services.
Your registration is not complete until you pay your tuition and fees. You must select your form of payment at the time of registration and ensure that all financial arrangements are in place by the payment deadline.
Visiting students are not eligible to receive federal financial aid from Cuyahoga Community College. Please contact your home institution to determine if you are eligible to receive federal financial aid from their office, under a consortium agreement. For more information, or to submit your consortium agreement, contact the financial aid office at consortiums@qqzhangui.com.
You will need your Stomp Card to conduct business on any Tri-C campus. You can get your picture taken and have your card printed at Admissions and Enrollment Services after you have registered for courses.
